Palliative Care / End of Life

End of life care is the unique quality of care that we provide to our clients at the end of their lives ensuring that they are as comfortable and pain free as possible. We will support your family members at the difficult time. Pillar Nursing Placements seeks to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of adults with a life-limiting or terminal illness, helping them live as fully as they can for the precious time they have left.

We provide end of life care to individuals suffering from cancer or any terminal illness or any progressive, debilitating illnesses. For people suffering from terminal illnesses and advanced progressive illnesses, we aim to provide the best psychological and emotional support in the comfort of their own home.

Our services are tailored according to the needs of the client and the duration of care is dependant on the client needs.

Supported Living

Supported living for people with nursing needs. At Pillar Nursing Placements, we offer supported living services to help you if you don’t want to live in residential care but you’re finding it difficult to cope at home. Supported living accommodation is a combination of suitable accommodation – which can be your own home – with some forms of personal care (like help with washing or cooking).

Some supported living homes are shared by 2 or 3 people with a similar health problem, such as a substance misuse problem or a particular disability. Staff usually visit the home to help you get out of bed, go out to college or work, and do simple tasks such as shopping, housework and repairs. We can also help with domestic tasks and personal care. Supported living services are flexible and sometimes better value for money than the alternatives, whether you fund your own care or receive a personal budget.

Our supported living packages are available 24hrs per day and we are able to support those supported living homes if they require extra staff due to staff shortages. We employ both Nurses and care / support workers.

Live in Care

We specialise in live in care and complex 24 hr care. Live in care provides you and your loved one 1 to 1 full time support and care in the comfort of your own home. We are able to match you with an experienced and trained health care professional to meet your needs.

This is when the activities of daily living become more challenging, we at Pillar Nursing Placements are devoted to providing you with high standards of care in your own home, allowing you to be close to your family, friends and surroundings familiar to you.

When life becomes more challenging in many ways, we are here to help, and getting the right physical and emotional support can make all the difference to you and give peace of mind to your loved ones. It is possible for anyone to remain at home, as long as they have the right kind of support.
